REMARKABLE MINDS APPROACH

Remarkable Minds' therapists are caring, enthusiastic and experienced. Intervention consists of one to one therapy in which the therapist supports the child in the classroom as well as in social or group settings, in order to ensure that the child's needs are always at the forefront of each therapy session.

Each child is an unique individual with individual needs and abilities. Consequently, there is no one size fits all solutions to intervention. It is for this reason that Remarkable Minds makes use of a holistic approach which combines different techniques and approaches centered on the individual strengths and abilities of each child.

These techniques and approaches include:

  • D.I.R Floortime

  • Relationship Development Intervention (RDI)

  • Rapid Prompt Method (RPM)

  • Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS)

  • Treatment and Education of Autistic and Related Communication of Handicapped children (TEACCH)

  • Makaton

  • Brain Gym

  • Applied Behavioural Analysis (ABA)

  • Sensory Modulation

  • Social Stories

  • Social Skill Training

  • Teach Me Language
